This workshop is for the kids with some help from the big person accompanying them.

Designed for children aged 2yrs to 13 yrs, it’s a hands-on workshop that lets the kids get their hands in the dirt whilst learning how to attract beautiful butterflies, bees and beneficial bugs to their home garden. Each child will make their own take home seed bombs so that they too can become mini urban farmers.

Tickets: 2yrs – 13 yrs $20 per child with supervising adults FREE. Participating persons 13yrs and upwards who would like to make their own seed bombs will be $20 per person. Each child will make and take home 6 Seed Bombs.

Workshop Length: 1hr

This workshop provides hands-on learning in ways to resuse household waste items that normally head for the bin. Topics covered will include composting, worm farming and the possibility of using small animals to reduce waste. Participants will come away with practical steps to inspire and implement at home.

Tickets: $25 p.p

Workshop Length: 1hr 30mins

Learn how to make your own mini vegetable & herb gardens out of the most unusual items. With a focus on companion gardening, you’ll participate in hands-on learning and come away with the confidence to grow a few or a lot of your own vegies, herbs and even fruit trees in small spaces. This workshop is also a great opportunity to ‘Ask Rachel’ about some of your gardening challenges.

Tickets: $25 p.p

Workshop Length: 1hr 30 mins

Learn how to make a ‘no dig’ garden bed using things you already have in the garden or can scavenge locally.
