more about our
Running Creek farm
Running Creek Beef occupies a 670-acre property in Queensland’s picturesque Running Creek.
Located just 30 minutes south-east of Beaudesert, the farm offers farm gate sales (by appointment) and regularly hosts events. It also has a farmstay cottage where you can experience farm life first-hand.
The farm borders the NSW Rabbit proof-fence and the spectacular McPherson Ranges, a spur of the Great Dividing Range. The sub-tropical climate creates perfect conditions for a variety of grasses which the cattle thrive on.
The MacPherson Ranges also capture and create craters of water and mountain springs that help provide water as high as 430 meters above sea level.
Pure clean air, water and grass, no wonder the cattle love it!
Running Creek is located within the Scenic Rim Region on the southern border of Queensland, Australia.
The area takes its name from the always flowing Running Creek, whose head drains the Lamington National Park in Springbrook. Even in the current drought, Running Creek still continues to flow, providing much needed water to surrounding farms.
Running Creek borders the spectacular McPherson Ranges, a spur of the Great Dividing Range. The McPherson Ranges head in an easterly direction from near Wallangarra to the Pacific Ocean coastline. It forms part of the Scenic Rim on the border between the states of New South Wales and Queensland.
The Scenic Rim region is surrounded by World Heritage-listed national parks. It is located an hour south of Brisbane and an hour inland from the Gold Coast.
